THE GARDEN IN MY MIND SERIES

This series is an offshoot of my Nature Regeneration Series. I am an avid gardener with a special interest in growing food, but the truth that I am a bit of a gardening hack. My vision of my garden rarely matches reality. In any case, "The Garden In My Mind" is lush and gorgeous and wild and beautiful. The plants mutate and propagate on their own to create a weird and bountiful garden full of wonder and delight.

These small works are created from recycled wool blankets and sweaters that are needle felted onto a woolen base. I then embellish the work with embroidery and glass beads. The beading brings the work to life catching and reflecting the color and light.
